What distances are you shooting? The last .308 that I had wore a 6x42 leupold fixed power and I thought it was a superb combination.

I've been using the Lansky system with 5 stones for years and it puts a rather nice edge on the blade, quickly and consistently.

If you cannot find 204 brass, look and see if you can find .222 Remington Magnum brass. It was the parent brass of the 204.
