I have been tring to develop a load for my 243 win. The 105gr Berger vld bullets keyhole for me like crazy. Too slow a twist in my Nef barrel I geuss.

30-30 kills elk & moose, even bear well enough at sensible ranges. I have hunted all three, when the only gun I had was a 30-30.

I have a load using 110g Hornady FMJ, OAL of 3.00". My 700 Rem just loves em.

I don't mind the change in spring, But the fall change upsets my sleepin, right in between Muzzleloader and Rifle seasons
