In the wonderful strange land down under we use the metric system. Unless what ever we are doing originated in the US, then it's anybody's guess as to which measurements are used.
Aviation is one example, where feet, metres and nautical miles are ALL used.
My local gun range is based on yards. So I kinda have to follow suit unless I want to work out all the maths. I'm not that good at maths!!!
However, wind is measured in either knots or KPH (aviation weather vs civilian weather). So that's what I need to use.
Would it be possible for a future version to have a custom units selection in the same drop down box as Imperial and Metric. When selected it brings up a window with a list of all the areas (like wind, range, elevation etc) next to the measurements that each one can use.
I could then select KPH (or M/S, or MPH or KNOTS) for wind, yards (or metres, or miles, or feet etc) for range and so on.
I know this may not be a high priority feature, but it would make things a lot easier. Unless you think we could convert the entire world over to the metric system.....

I will keep this in mind, however it was a incredible pain to support the current "on the fly" toggling between SAE and Metric. It required a ground up re-write of the software. To allow user supported mix and matching of units... it would be really complicated.
If I can come with a reasonable way to do it, I will implement it. Its fairly low priority though for me.
