Well, one more reason to detest...no, probably hate intensely...anything even remotely connected to China.

Was chatting in general with a guy who has been my best mate, shooting and hunting buddy for the last 25 years (I’ve known him for near enough 40 years and is one of only a couple of guys I would trust with my life), when the subject of COVID and the immunisation created by Pfizer came up. He said he will have the immunisation in a heartbeat...I said I won’t have it at this time. I didn’t get a chance to explain my reasons why, before he spat the dummy, told me I was a bloody fool, packed up and went home. To be honest, I can’t remember the last time I felt this rejected, hurt and let down, especially by someone who has been like a brother to me. Since COVID hit the world, I’ve watched him slowly change from being an extremely reasonable and caring guy into someone who has become increasingly paranoid about this bloody virus.

I strongly believe that the immunisation created by Pfizer for the virus has come about far too quickly, is in reality untested, or not sufficiently tested for human use...it’s pretty much a stop gap solution at best. The long term side effects of the immunisation are unknown as well.

I believe the virus was created on direction from the CCP in an attempt to gain power around the world. It has destroyed economies, lives, relationships, families and friendships, and possibly nations, right around the world this year, and looks like continuing to do so for quite some time yet.

So, as I watch my friendship with someone, who meant a lot to me, go down the gurgler, my hatred for China, well the CCP, is growing by the minute. It doesn’t help when I see Australian politicians sucking up to the Chinese President, or whatever he considers and calls himself, selling our great nation down the sh1t pipe!!!

I think I’ll go and sit in my recliner, open a bottle of scotch and try to relax as I watch the world go by.

we had 200 active cases/new cases start of week...2500 mid week 12011 yesterday with 5 deaths and couple hundy in hospital..... it is here with vengence now.....
time to learn to live with it and just get on with life me thinks.

sorry mate,just re-read your post ...give it time and then reach out again,you are so right about the devisiveness of what has happened,and tin foil hat aside,the actions of some pillicktitions has added to the devide....now with whats going on in Europe,the world is a scary place once again,but so far I havent found anywhere else to live ...so will hunker down and ride out the storm one way or another,then pop up and carry on afterwards.

I've had people refuse to meet with me because I wasn't vaccinated. Doesn't make any damn sense. If THEY got the shot why should I have to?? I did eventually get one, because my daughter, who works at a hotel, was scared to death that she might expose me to COVID with serious results. Noting that a couple weeks after the shot I ended up in the hospital with a heart issue. Could be coincidence of course. I'm pretty sure I already had COVID, in Feb 2020.

The whole thing has gotten out of hand, and it doesn't take much checking to see that it is mostly political.

Well despite my best efforts and vaccination I seem to have picked up the chinese flu.
ATM feels like any other virus, headache, back ache and a bit chesty and bloody tired.
Ah well life will continue after the mandatory 7 days isolation. The girlfriend hasnt got it yet, she tests 3 times a week because she works in aged care.
So you buggers better be more entertaining than usual.......

Sorry to hear that Pete…so much for their bloody vaccination, and third, AND fourth jab. …I’ve had neither, only the vaccination. I’ve seen far too many reports of nasty side effects, including death of young otherwise healthy people, after the boosters. Do your best to keep on top of this mongrel virus mate and get well soon.

As an aside…where does your girlfriend work in childcare mate? My daughter works in a community based childcare unit in Brassall.

The vaccination wasnt designed to stop you getting the bug, it was to stop you getting severe illness and needing hospitalization.
The current version and im assuming thats what ive caught isnt the bastard the first versions were plus I am vaccinated, so Im expecting to feel average fiir the rest of the week.
Time will tell.

Pete, are you taking any medicine to help get better sooner? I have an issue with just sitting and taking your licks. My 32-year old niece who is super fit has been diagnosed with long-term COVID. She wasn't getting better, finally stop waiting, and went on ivermectin which quickly got her better. There is also a new pill out to help recovery. My dad just got out of the hospital Monday and is on 5 liters of O2/min with COVID Lungs, he is 91. I better get back up and see him soon.

local super market 2 weeks ago...someone rang up as they knew their neighbour was supposed to be home isolating had gone in to buy groceries (who doesnt have enough to last a week??? and why not buy online and get delivered?) any way the supervisor got on the public speaker system in store and said something along lines of "we know there is a person in the store who has tested positive and should be isolating,we know who you are ,can you please make your way to isle 4 so we can keep you isolated from other shoppers"...and FOUR different people turned up in isle 4!!!!!!!!

Yep, the me society is highly prevalent.
Today is the 4th day of having this thing and I feel slightly better, not as achy, not as tired.
For sH%ts and giggkes I did another RAT test, the one I did on Tuesday because I didnt feel well took about 10 mins to grow a faint line at the AG mark, the one today had a solid black line at AG in less than 30 seconds.
It appears the test works.
Ah well, looks like self isolation lasts to Wednesday at the earliest depending on how I feel.
Girlfriend is still negative.

just be careful..all that time locked up together you might end up having two pink lines on "the other test"........
