Sorry about that folks, I noticed somewhere between afternoon and evening the 'Nut disappeared from the internet. Completely gone.
In a panic I started trouble shooting, couldnt login to anything. Went over to the DNS service (the company you pay for the website name itself) and found my payment method expired. I'd not gotten any emails on it. I usually buy 5 year periods and apparently last night was the end of the previous 5 years.
I paid for it another 5, but when i looked at the status it still had an error icon next to the website name. Huh... maybe payment didnt go through? I did it again and same thing, still had an error icon. Ok whatever, started poking around in settings and whatnot, came back and the error icon was still there but the expiration date was now 2036! LMAO... ok apparently both payments went through so we're good for another decade on the name.
The website still didnt work, as somehow the name "HuntingNut.com" was not pointing to the actual website host (Another company that has the physical computers the website files physically exist on). I could not for the life of me figure out what the address was supposed to be and had to open a ticket with support to get some help. They got me the info I needed and I was able to get the name host updated. I got that wrapped up around 2:30am.
From there it just took some time for changes to percolate around the "internet" and get working again.
As far as I can see, things seem to be working again. If not people should clear their browser cache... but ironically if they have an issue they wont see this recommendation.
Anywho... this was the most eventful problem we've had in maybe 15 years, hopefully its the last for another decade.

Thanks for your hardwork Dallan
I definitely appreciate having a "home" to go to in the big wide net.

You do an awesome job keeping this place ticking over. Agree it is home away from home.

Kids will be 9 and 10 this year. They are getting up there in age.

Don't we have to start something for the old farts who could make it till 2036 as a nut-member?
Feeling what I feel now at 70 years old (almost) I cannot imaging how I would feel at 80 years old...
I think the only thing that makes it worth getting old are grand-children... I have 4 grandsons, the oldest already started with airguns, the youngest is just going to school...
and I already know that they will never be able to get all the (hunting-)experiences I could get. I often think about the rule: "don't change for a change, only change to improve!" I don't think modern leaders ever learned about this rule...

If my 25 year old son could find a girl and start that process, I'm going to ruin that kid. We're going fishing or shooting every minute I can steal him away!

I struggle with this constantly with my son. I've tried to find similar experiences for him, but things just "changed", permanently, irrevocably. I grew up last house on a road that went up where two mountain ranges meet in a corner. Grew up as feral as can be, literally shooting guns out of the windows of the house, could ride a dirt bike anywhere and everywhere, no-one cared. Tons of game everywhere to shoot. Could spend hours plinking in a afternoon... and do it again the next day and the next.
Now, millionaires and billionaires have bought up all the remaining land on the hillsides, everything is marked "No Tresspassing", even roads previously opened with a public right-of-way gated off, the owner knowing he has more spare money to fight any legal challenge anyone else can afford to bring.
/sigh, I try to explain "how it was" at times to my son, but its not his era, he cant miss what he never experienced. There are some great spots we used to frequent that are also now closed, so he's gotten some sense of it.

The series Yellowstone was great watch. We watched the two before it as well.... Sort of sums up what your saying Dallan ,about the changes we all face as population increases and free land area decreases. The highwaymen have done the last cowboy waltz.... That pretty well says same thing.
