Have a good Memorial Day weekend..... as this is a holiday derived from the US War of Northern Agression, originally called Decoration Day, I doubt our folks from other nations will participate. But, I hope you and yours have a safe holiday especially if traveling.
I am going to shoot clays on Saturday and will try to get in a boat trip on Sunday or Monday.

Going to hang out my 9 foot stars and stripes, kick back, drink beer and bar-b-que...Got my daughter, her two daughters and her half brothers coming in Saturday morning...Going to get crowded around here...When they all leave I'll still have my two grand daughters for the summer...

Howdy. Headin to NC to see my dad, ride four wheelers and horses and sit around the front porch and kick back  . Took a couple extra days off so I have a five day weekend . Everybody have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Working with the new horses and new colts, mending fences thanks to the mules and the stud fight we had.
Cooking Sat and Sun at work then back to the ranch monday. woohoo

Anyways I didn't know that Memorial Day started with the American Civil War as its commonly called outside of the United States. Thanks for that tid bit of information.

Just got our little flag from Big Lots that going to go up here in a few minutes. I'm spending the weekend making up tests for my students and visiting my mom in the hospital. Can't afford the gas to go any where else.
Also thanks to all the vets past and present.
