I see this in my future - if I can only remember where the gun is! Very Happy

Do we have this to look forward to? Shocked

(This is supposed to be a true story)

An elderly Florida lady did her shopping and, upon returning to
her car, found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle.

She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, proceeding
to scream at the top of her voice, "I have a gun, and I know how
to use it! Get out of the car..!!"

The four men didn't wait for a second invitation. They got out
and ran like mad.

The lady, somewhat shaken, then proceeded to
load her shopping bags into the back of the car and got into driver's
seat.
She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the
ignition. She tried and tried, and then it dawned on her why.

A few minutes later, she found her own car parked four or five
spaces farther down. She loaded her bags into the car and drove
to the police station.

The sergeant to whom she told the story couldn't stop laughing.
He pointed to the other end of the counter, where four pale men
were reporting a car jacking by a mad, elderly woman described as
white, less than five feet tall, glasses, curly white hair, and
carrying a large handgun. No charges were filed.

If you're going to have a Senior Moment, make it a memorable one.

That has been floating around the web for years. Smells like urban legend.

Urban legend or not it's still funny. Laughing

Reminds me of a few weeks ago...
My wife and I were coming out of a local restaurant. As we walked towards her Jeep. I was thinking about coyotes, checking the nearby hillsides (as I often do). Not paying attention, I grabbed the door handle and gave it a good solid jerk but it would not open. A few yards away I heard my wife laughing… at her vehicle. In my stupor I was getting into someone else’s truck. Embarassed , totally. We both got a ha-ha out of it but I'm glad no one was setting in my wifes "other" Jeep.
Confused "It" just happens sometimes. Embarassed

Reminds me of the time I was coming out of the grocery store and looked out at my SUV where a lady was standing at my drivers side door, fumbling with her keys and looking very disgusted. I casually approached her and asked her if she needed any help. She said she didn't understand why her key would not open her vehicle. I said, "Here try mine" and handed her the key. To my surprise she took the key, opened the door and was amazed that somehow mine had worked. She still didn't have a clue as to what she had done. I was about to wet myself. I explained that it worked because it was MY VEHICLE! Hers was dark green also but was an entirely different make and model and was parked two spaces over. And yes, she was Blonde! LMAO
