Here in the State of WA. crows are protected. All the vultures were killed off a long time ago so all we have left is the crows.
If I feed them maybe they will become a pest and they will drop the protected status.....?

Crows are a very wary bird. Once they see a human carrying anything that resembles a "bangstick" they fly the opposite way.
Of course a crow 200 yrds away would probably be saying to itself, "Hah...hes to far awa"..zzzzzzziiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIPPPPP SPLAT!!!!

Crows are smart birds. They will find the limit of your skill and sit just outside that distance. They learn quickly and remember for a long time.
