Regretably, the firearm and attendant industries are a small drop in the bucket of the Gross Domestic Product and the economic clout is highly overestimated by those of us in the gun culture. It probably has no import in the high discussions about any benefits of sales and revenue.

For the private sector involved in sales, the margins are extremely thin in comparison to most businesses and the revenue of income taxes, again, is not even a consideration to those that wish to impose restrictions. IMO, of course.
