Seems my nephew has one and its a fresh build , I have a rifle he wants , and we both have about the same money in each set up .. Along with the rifle , a M700 with a 9" twist Hart Bull barrel will be dies and 400 pieces of Nosler brass ..
He got 1600 rounds from the last STW , which is exceptional for something so ridiculously overbore , it should be against the law , and probably is in some areas ..
My only issue is , it's a small bore ..

Son has one, the R700 with a flued stainless barrel ,,, A few hundred rounds thought it ,,, still a tack driver out 4 - 500 yds. ,,,, He's shot deer at 700 yds. and better , uses a NightForce scope.

I shoot a Winchester M70 in 7STW, its a fun rifle. I have a 6.5x20 Leupold scope on it. My current load is a 160grn Accubond at 3,200fps. I need to work up some 140grn Accubond loads this summer.

my only issue is I'm not a smallbore guy . he wants the CZ550 LOTT , he did say Saturday that a buddy of his has a one shooter 45/70 , but didn't know if it was a C Sharps , Shiloh or Pedersoli , but the feller was looking for a trade on something ..
Me thinketh reaming out 45/70 to 45/110 or 45/120
