Well, it's 10:38 and the oldest cihld, son-in-law, and grandchildren are off to Hawaii for the next three years courtesy of US Army. It's a sad, yet prideful day at the castle.

Hawaii? Well now if they are going to send you anywhere I guess thats a pretty good place LOL. Personally I'd rather be stationed in Alaska due to the recreation available but Hawaii would be very nice as well.

Alaska was the original spot, but, as the norm, the Army changed it's mind.

Hawaii isn't bad if you have lots of $$. Unless something dramatic has happened, the cost of a Big Mac is roughly what a Value Meal costs CONUS. It "only" takes $200k to have the income equal to $70k here.

We are saving the pennies for a trip. I guess my toy buying is over for a few years. Might have to get serious about fur the next few years.
