Young Phillip came to school one day, and he fell asleep twice during class.

His teacher was concerned, and she talked to him about the problem. "I was cleanin' chickens." he said.

"How does cleaning chickens explain how you keep falling asleep?" the teacher asked.

"Well, last night late Pop thought he heard the fox that has been raiding our henhouse, so he got his shotgun, and went to look. It was cold, but he just put on a coat over his shorts, and went out."

He had just opened the henhouse door, and was peeking in, when our hound stuck his cold nose on the back of pop's leg...and we was up all night cleanin' chickens!"

those dogs sure know when you least expect it. Ive had that happen numerous times when getting up for a leak etc black dogs are the worst cause you cant see em sneeking up on ya.
