I have a Leupold RX-1000 TBR that is reliable ranging on about anything out to 600 yards. I love it because its so small and light it doesn't get in the way. Also, the optics are very clear.

Are you looking for a range finder that will actually range to 1500 yards on non-reflective targets or an advertized 1500 yards that reliably ranges to 750 yards on non-reflective targets? Typically, a range finder will range reliably on game at 1/2 the distance they advertize the ranging capability is in perfect circumstances.

If you truely want something that will range on game out past 1000 yards, you may need to consider a range finder that is integrated into binoculars.
