This petition has been open for a while now, but somehow there are not many people sign it.

mmmm,
Call me paranoid, but gee that's an easy way to identify the location of a firearm owner.
I'll pass on this one as it will have absolutely NO effect on our politicians, they are the govern ment and they mean to govern regardless of what you plebs want...... Unless we have a sure fire way of removing their nose from the trough of public money, it is meaningless, apart from putting your details on the WWW.

dhc, you're a little bit closer, but I cannot immagine someone flying more than 24 hours just to have a search for my guns, not to mention the warm welcome my big friends will give him when he doesn't enter the normal way and during normal hours. It's very hard to beat a german Teckle and she will call her stronger friends
And to be honnest: I'm more afraid of the official listings on my shooting range than some hard to check data from me on the internet.

. Just being on forum such as the NUT, makes me think we're already on the list.

BB, I think you're right, but in the back of my head your Dachshund is a little bit bigger than my Teckle. Teckles come with different hair (short, long and drahthar) and in 4 (or 5?) sizes, from very small till about the size of a fox, but they all are very clever, clever enough to manipulate other dogs and even their master, not easy to train and in their own mind they are as big as a lion and a little bit stronger.
Don't get confused with a german Jagdterrier. A Teckle is hard to train but will give you lots of love. A Jagdterrier will shorten your life with about 15 years...
